Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, along with the National Energy Administration, jointly released a notice to solicit typical cases of smart photovoltaic applications. The focus of this solicitation is on projects that utilize smart photovoltaic products, integrate cutting-edge information technologies—such as 5G communication, big data, the Internet, and artificial intelligence—and offer smart photovoltaic services. These projects encompass a wide array of categories, including photovoltaic-storage integration, building-integrated photovoltaics, transportation applications, agricultural and rural applications, photovoltaic-based hydrogen/ammonia/alcohol production, floating photovoltaics (previously referred to as 'Water photovoltaics' in the original text, but 'floating photovoltaics' is a more accurate and commonly used term in the industry), green photovoltaics, key information technologies, advanced photovoltaic products, innovative facilities, and empirical testing.
