Cloudflare has announced the immediate termination of all HTTP connections on its API platform, mandating that developers must utilize the HTTPS encryption protocol for all API requests. Previously, Cloudflare redirected HTTP traffic to HTTPS, yet security concerns persisted, leading to the decision to fundamentally prohibit HTTP connections. This measure aims to bolster security and safeguard developers from inadvertently transmitting sensitive credential data via HTTP. Cloudflare will not offer a redirection service from HTTP to HTTPS, and any HTTP requests will remain unanswered. This change exclusively impacts api.Cloudflare.com, and developers are required to adapt their services to adhere to the new security mandate.
