On March 20, China Mobile unveiled its comprehensive 2024 performance metrics. According to the data, the company invested RMB 69 billion in 5G networks throughout the year, bringing the cumulative total of 5G base stations to over 2.4 million, an increase of 467,000 from the previous year. By the end of 2024, the entire network will fully support gigabit services, encompassing 480 million households. Furthermore, China Mobile is accelerating its development of integrated air, space, and ground network infrastructure, fostering a deeper integration of aviation, satellite, and terrestrial networks. Simultaneously, the company is proactively engaging with the national East-to-West Data Transmission Project, striving to establish a pioneering national computing power network with a general computing power capacity of 8.5 EFLOPS (FP32) and an intelligent computing power capacity of 29.2 EFLOPS (FP16).
