The latest global server market report for Q4 2024, released by IDC, reveals a staggering surge in market revenue, reaching $77.3 billion for the quarter, marking a robust 91% increase year-on-year. Within this, x86 servers experienced a significant growth of 59.9% compared to the previous year, while non-x86 servers demonstrated even more impressive growth, soaring by 262.1% year-on-year. NVIDIA has emerged as the leading player in the GPU embedded server market.
Regionally, the Canadian market witnessed the fastest growth rate. The US market continued to dominate, accounting for 56% of the total revenue, while the Chinese market contributed a substantial 25%, underscoring its pivotal role in the global server landscape.
