Serving as a crucial computational infrastructure, these centers offer computational power, data, and algorithm services rooted in artificial intelligence theory. In 2023, the market size of AI computing centers in China surged to RMB 87.9 billion, marking a year-on-year growth of over 90%, with projections indicating a rise to RMB 135.6 billion by 2025. Beyond boosting investment and employment, these centers provide robust computational support for technological and industrial innovation, contributing significantly to high-quality economic development. Furthermore, AI computing center projects are now expanding into county regions, stimulating the vitality of the county economy and fostering industrial transformation and upgrading. China's intelligent computing power is expanding rapidly, anticipated to reach 725.3 EFLOPS in 2024 and further escalate to 1037.3 EFLOPS by 2025. However, challenges such as low utilization rates, inadequate industrial chain coordination, and high energy consumption persist and necessitate addressing through comprehensive planning, optimized operations, and the elimination of circulation barriers.
