NVIDIA is collaborating with Nokia and several major global telecom operators to drive the transformation of communication networks into distributed intelligence platforms. This initiative aims to integrate accelerated computing technologies into communication networks, thereby better meeting the needs of users and enterprises, optimizing wireless communication experiences, and automating network operations and maintenance. Currently, T-Mobile has successfully completed the world's first commercial network AI-RAN call, while Deutsche Telekom, British Telecom, and Elisa have also announced plans to launch AI-RAN pilot projects. NVIDIA has introduced two Aerial RAN Computer configurations, targeting intelligent computing for high-capacity sites and wireless access network workloads, respectively. Additionally, nine telecom operators in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East are building or expanding infrastructure based on NVIDIA's technology, while Nokia and Cisco are integrating NVIDIA's Nemotron open models into their autonomous network operations and maintenance software.
