On October 16, Alibaba Cloud posted a notice on its official website, stating that its Virtual Digital Human product would be phased out as part of a broader product strategy realignment. The detailed timeline for this transition is outlined below: Effective November 30, 2026, new purchases of the product will no longer be available. Current users, however, will retain access to the service until their existing subscriptions run their course. From May 31, 2027, onwards, there will be no further renewals or version upgrades offered. Ultimately, the service will be entirely discontinued on November 30, 2027. At that juncture, the console, support, and ticket services will all be taken offline, and the refund services will also cease. Alibaba Cloud advises its customers to consider migrating to alternative solutions, such as Ant Digital Human, FaceUnity Digital Human, and Yizhi AI Live Streaming Digital Human, to ensure a smooth transition.
