Yuanbrain Server has introduced an innovative CXL memory solution that enables the simultaneous deployment and expansion of both DDR5 and DDR4 memory within a single system. Using the Yuanbrain Server NF5280 as a case in point, this solution leverages 24 onboard DDR5 memory slots and, through a proprietary CXL memory expansion card, allows for the addition of 16 DDR4 memory slots per server, each with a capacity of 32GB. This results in an extra 512GB of memory, boosting the server's total memory capacity by 33% while simultaneously cutting costs by 25%. This solution has undergone rigorous validation and is now being implemented on a large scale at a leading domestic internet company.
