The ongoing growth in global demand for computing power, data centers, and terminal devices has substantially driven up international orders for Chinese electrical equipment, particularly prefabricated substations. China’s highest-voltage-level prefabricated substation has successfully commenced power transmission operations in Oman. In the first half of this year, certain companies reported a 30% year-on-year increase in overseas project deliveries. During the same period, Shandong province’s electrical equipment exports reached RMB 26.73 billion, marking a 9.3% year-on-year rise, with substation and transformer exports exceeding RMB 7 billion. These exports were primarily directed toward the EU, Middle East, and other regions, with notable growth in shipments to the EU and Africa. High-voltage, large-capacity power transformation equipment and prefabricated substations have emerged as new drivers of foreign trade growth. Their rising market popularity can be attributed to two key factors: surging global demand and the mutual recognition of standards achieved through technological exports.
