On July 14, Wang Jun, the Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration of Customs, announced at a press conference organized by the Information Office of the State Council that, propelled by the swift advancement of artificial intelligence, China has witnessed a robust growth in the import and export of related products. In the first half of this year, the import and export volume of computing hardware, encompassing electronic components and computer parts, soared to RMB 5.13 trillion, marking a remarkable year-on-year increase of 56.6%. Concurrently, intelligent products like AI glasses, translators, and mechanical exoskeletons are undergoing rapid iterations, with a steady stream of innovative products continually emerging onto the market.
