Recently, the latest results from the internationally acclaimed Graph500 list for supercomputing were unveiled. The 'Tianhe' graph computing system (TianheGraph), independently developed by the College of Computer Science at the National University of Defense Technology and deployed at the National Supercomputing Centers in Tianjin and Changsha, has achieved a dual global milestone. It ranks first worldwide in both the GreenGraph500 category for energy efficiency in big data graph computing and for small data graph computing energy efficiency. Since June 2021, the 'Tianhe' graph computing system has claimed the top spot in the Graph500 series rankings a cumulative 14 times over six consecutive years. This sustained dominance underscores its continued leadership in the global graph computing arena, highlighting the robust independent innovation capabilities and international competitiveness of China's domestically produced supercomputers.
