On July 2, Qinhuai Data officially launched the industry’s first commercial project for intelligent DC power supply in computing power centers, utilizing SST (Solid State Transformer) technology. This initiative was unveiled at Qinhuai Data’s Capital-Surrounding Sangyuan Cloud Computing Industrial Base. Collaboratively developed by Qinhuai Data, Meituan, Dongyangguang Group, and Delta, this project introduces a groundbreaking SST 10kV angular connection mode. This innovative approach eliminates redundant links in traditional power supply chains, enabling a direct, one-step conversion from 10kV AC utility power to 800V DC.

The project sets a new industry benchmark with a power supply efficiency of 98.5%. Compared to traditional solutions, it reduces the physical footprint by over 50%, effectively doubling space utilization. Its integrated storage and backup design facilitate all-weather peak-valley arbitrage and ensure secure backup power. Furthermore, by leveraging intelligent power management, the system dynamically balances fluctuations in AI workloads, significantly enhancing overall operational stability.
