Kingsoft Cloud is set to ramp up its efforts in building GPU computing clusters in the latter half of this year. Xiaomi, a major client, has escalated its GPU computing needs, expanding from a cluster of 10,000 cards to an unprecedented scale. Correspondingly, Xiaomi's budget for this initiative has surged from nearly 4 billion yuan to over 10 billion yuan, reflecting its commitment to advanced computing capabilities. Meanwhile, Alibaba's large-scale model team has entered into a five-year GPU computing power leasing agreement with Kingsoft Cloud. This contract encompasses the lease of over 3,000 GPU servers, each equipped with eight cards. Upon full deployment, the monthly revenue for Kingsoft Cloud is estimated to reach around 300 million yuan, translating to an annual revenue exceeding 4 billion yuan. Jiemian News has contacted Kingsoft, Xiaomi, and Alibaba for verification, but as of now, no official response has been received.
