On June 30th, Akamai, a prominent US-based multinational edge cloud corporation, completely terminated its CDN node operations within the Chinese mainland, formally marking the "phase-out" of its CDN services in this region. Any access requests that remain unmigrated will be automatically redirected to nodes situated in neighboring countries or regions. To facilitate a seamless transition for its clients, Akamai has entered into migration cooperation agreements with both Tencent Cloud and Wangsu Science & Technology, enabling them to shift to local CDN services effortlessly.
