Recently, Midea Group disclosed during institutional research that Midea Building Technologies has successfully commercialized its liquid cooling solutions and products. This is exemplified by its involvement in the first large-scale, fully liquid-cooled intelligent computing data center project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which was undertaken for China Telecom. Additionally, Midea Building Technologies has supplied CDU products to a T3-level data center in Wuhu. Furthermore, Midea Group announced plans to commence the construction of the Shunde Liquid Cooling Smart Manufacturing Base in March 2026. The project involves a total investment exceeding 1 billion yuan. It is anticipated that the base will begin operations in August 2027, enabling independent, large-scale mass production of core liquid cooling components. In the meantime, Midea Group has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba Group. The two companies will collaborate to explore the next-generation business model of "whole-house intelligence + AI large models + commercial ecosystem." Their focus will be on achieving breakthroughs in AIDC liquid cooling temperature control technology, with the aim of establishing a green computing foundation for the AI era.
