On March 17, Reuters reported that, according to sources familiar with the matter, a procurement team from Google visited mainland China to hold discussions with companies such as Shenzhen Envicool Technology, with the intention of purchasing liquid cooling equipment for data centers. As the heat generated by high-density computing exceeds the capacity of traditional air cooling systems, liquid cooling systems are crucial for AI data centers. Google's team visit this month reflects the tight supply of components for liquid cooling systems. In addition to meeting with Envicool, the team also planned to engage with at least one other company. According to a JPMorgan report, driven by demand from NVIDIA and cloud service providers, the global market size for liquid cooling systems for AI servers is expected to surge from $8.9 billion last year to over $17 billion by 2026.
