On March 16, it was reported that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology convened a cadre meeting, underscoring the importance of advancing the optimization and modernization of the industrial framework. Key strategies encompass the execution of initiatives aimed at rejuvenating traditional sectors, the deployment of significant technological innovation and enhancement projects, the launch of pilot schemes for pioneering technological transformations in urban areas, and the bolstering of standards development, quality assurance, and brand cultivation. Concurrently, there will be a concerted effort to nurture and expand burgeoning industries and those oriented towards the future, such as integrated circuits, aerospace, and biomedicine, alongside the establishment of mechanisms to augment investment and risk-sharing in these nascent sectors. Additionally, there will be a robust drive towards the advancement of intelligent manufacturing, eco-friendly production methods, and service-centric manufacturing models, as well as the seamless integration of digitalization and industrialization. The Ministry will also proactively orchestrate the construction of next-generation information infrastructure, including 5G and intelligent computing, elevate the '5G + Industrial Internet' paradigm, facilitate digital transformation within the manufacturing realm, implement the 'Artificial Intelligence + Manufacturing' action plan, foster the growth of unique intelligent agents, and expedite the development of satellite internet.
