On March 16, Dreame Technology marked a significant milestone as its inaugural ‘Yaotai’ computing power base station was successfully launched into space aboard the Kuaizhou-11 Yao-7 carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. This cutting-edge computing power base station is integrated into an optical remote sensing satellite and will undergo rigorous and systematic testing within a sun-synchronous orbit, positioned approximately 561 kilometers above the Earth’s surface. The primary objective of these tests is to validate the system’s maximum capabilities and performance thresholds under the challenging conditions of space. Notably, Dreame Technology had previously unveiled its ambitious plan at the AWE exhibition to construct a space-based supercomputing center. This visionary project aims to deploy an impressive fleet of 2 million computing satellites, strategically positioned to meet the escalating and diverse computing power demands of the burgeoning AI era.
