On February 12, the three principal A-share indices—namely the GEM Index, the Shanghai Composite Index, and the Shenzhen Component Index—all opened higher. Notably, the GEM Index experienced a significant surge, climbing more than 1% at one point. Meanwhile, the Shanghai Composite Index edged up by 0.03%, and the Shenzhen Component Index advanced by 0.44%. Leading the charge were sectors such as computing power, liquid-cooled servers, CPO (Co-Packaged Optics), and semiconductors. Across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges, over 1,700 individual stocks registered gains, painting a broad-based rally picture.
