On February 10, the latest research from TrendForce Consulting revealed that Google has introduced the Ironwood cabinet system to meet the massive computing power demands of AI. This system integrates a 3D Torus network topology with the Apollo OCS all-optical network to achieve a high-speed interconnect architecture. Driven by this, the global shipment proportion of high-speed optical modules above 800G is expected to surge from 19.5% in 2024 to over 60% by 2026, gradually becoming a standard feature in AI data centers.
