In the third quarter of 2025, the cloud infrastructure services market on China’s mainland expanded to reach USD 13.4 billion. This signifies a 24% year-on-year increase and marks the second consecutive quarter in which growth has surpassed 20%. The steady rise in AI demand has spurred the widespread adoption of cloud services, propelled the development of core cloud infrastructure, and hastened the transition of cloud resource consumption towards production-level workloads. Leading cloud service providers have ramped up their deployment of AI capabilities, emphasizing the productization and functional segmentation of AI models, while also bolstering underlying toolchains and platform functionalities. During this quarter, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, and Tencent Cloud secured market shares of 36%, 16%, and 9%, respectively.
