The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with four other departments, has jointly released the Implementation Opinions on Enhancing Information and Communication Industry Capacity to Bolster the Development of Low-Altitude Infrastructure. These opinions underscore the importance of expanding communication network coverage in low-altitude scenarios in response to actual demand. Specifically, for low-altitude air routes and high-demand application zones below 300 meters (encompassing Class G and Class W airspace), the guidelines advocate for leveraging existing mobile communication network infrastructure, such as 5G, while adhering to national radio management regulations. To achieve comprehensive coverage of mobile communication networks in these low-altitude regions, strategies like beam optimization, antenna calibration, and the establishment of new base stations should be employed.
