On November 22, the 2025 China 5G+Industrial Internet Conference kicked off in Wuhan. Li Lecheng, the Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, emphasized that the Ministry is committed to steadfastly implementing the decisions made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council. It will adhere to the principles of intelligence, green development, and integration to drive the high-quality development of the industrial internet and offer robust support for the cultivation of new-quality productive forces. Here are the specific measures:

Firstly, the Ministry aims to facilitate a significant leap in the intelligence of the industrial internet. This will involve implementing integrated empowerment strategies, refining system architecture, and expanding "platform + agent" services to enhance overall efficiency.

Secondly, it will coordinate the optimized layout of new infrastructure. This entails deploying the five key systems—networks, identifiers, platforms, data, and security—in a cohesive manner. Additionally, it will expedite the development of new industrial networks, pilot industrial 5G standalone private networks, and construct intelligent digital information infrastructure to lay a solid foundation for future growth.

Thirdly, the Ministry will accelerate innovation and expansion in industry-integrated applications. By implementing the "chain-network collaboration" initiative and formulating industry-specific guidelines, it seeks to create an upgraded version of "5G+industrial internet." Furthermore, it will expedite the construction of 5G factories and intensify forward-looking research on the integration of 6G and industry to stay ahead of the technological curve.
