The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued a public call for comments on the "Guidelines for Building a Computing Power Standards System (2025 Edition)" (draft for public review). It proposes that by 2027, more than 50 standards will be formulated or revised across a range of domains, including basic principles, computing infrastructure, computing equipment, integrated computing and networking, computing interconnection, computing platforms, computing applications, computing security, and green and low-carbon development. These efforts aim to drive forward the establishment of a computing power standards system. By that time, it is anticipated that over 500 enterprises will participate in the dissemination, implementation, and promotion of these standards, leading to the emergence of numerous standard application cases. Simultaneously, the ministry will actively foster a collaborative standard-setting mechanism that brings together research institutions, industry associations, and industry alliances. This will encourage exchanges and cooperation in areas such as technological innovation, industrialization promotion, infrastructure development, talent cultivation, and more, thereby supporting the construction of a nationwide integrated computing power network.
