On October 21st, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released a draft for public comment titled the "Guidelines for the Construction of the Computing Power Standard System (2025 Edition)". According to the guidelines, by 2027, more than 50 standards will be either newly formulated or revised across various domains. These domains encompass foundational general standards, computing power infrastructure, equipment specifications, the integration of computing and networking, interconnection protocols, platform requirements, application guidelines, security measures, as well as green and low-carbon development practices. The aim is to propel the construction of a comprehensive computing power standard system.
By that time, it is anticipated that over 500 enterprises will actively participate in the promotion and implementation of these standards. This collective effort is expected to yield a series of standard application cases that vividly demonstrate the pivotal role of standards in fostering enterprise innovation and development. Simultaneously, there will be a concerted push to foster collaborative standard development mechanisms among research institutions, industry associations, and industrial alliances. This will entail enhancing exchanges and cooperation in areas such as technological innovation, industrialization promotion, infrastructure construction, and talent development, thereby providing robust support for the establishment of a national integrated computing power network.
