On October 14, 2025, Alibaba Cloud made an official announcement, revealing that it would implement price adjustments for certain Elastic Compute Service (ECS) products. These changes are set to take effect from 12:00 PM on October 30.
The regions impacted by this price adjustment encompass Frankfurt, Tokyo, and Dubai. Among the instance families affected are ecs.c9i, ecs.g9i, ecs.r9i, ecs.ebmc9i, ecs.ebmg9i, and ecs.ebmr9i.
The scope of the price reductions is quite comprehensive, covering monthly, annual, and savings plan prices. Moreover, these discounts are applicable to eligible new purchases, renewals, upgrades, and downgrades of orders placed after the effective date.
