According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China is set to fully promote the utilization of electronic certificates for value-added telecommunications service operation licenses, harnessing digital technology to boost the efficiency of governmental services. Based on the recently released "Notice on the Comprehensive Promotion of Electronic Certificates for Value-added Telecommunications Service Operation Licenses," telecommunications regulatory bodies will uniformly generate and issue electronic certificates via a comprehensive management information system tailored for the telecommunications services market. The electronic certificates will mirror the format of their paper counterparts and will incorporate a verification QR code to facilitate traceability and authentication. These electronic certificates possess the same legal standing as paper certificates and can be used as evidence of a company's lawful operation.
