On October 17th, it was reported that the 2026 Bay Area Semiconductor Industry Ecosystem Expo (WESEMiBAY) concluded successfully at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian) on October 16th. The WESEMiBAY achieved fruitful results in market-oriented matchmaking, with targeted invitations extended to 43 core wafer manufacturing enterprises, including Hua Hong Semiconductor and Guangdong Xinyun Semiconductor, for negotiations. The event attracted over 6,500 professional buyers. According to the organizing committee, the scale of the 2027 WESEMiBAY will expand to 100,000 square meters, utilizing all nine exhibition halls of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian). Currently, booth reservations are progressing well, with over 860 enterprises having already booked in advance, achieving an 80% reservation rate. The enthusiasm of exhibitors fully reflects the industry's high recognition of the platform value of the WESEMiBAY.
