At the Arm Everywhere China annual conference, Arm unveiled its new computing subsystem, Neoverse CSS N4, designed for cloud and data centers, as well as agent infrastructure. This product is Arm's most configurable CSS to date, the first N-series CSS to support a CPU frequency of 3.8GHz, and also the first Neoverse CSS to support LPDDR6 memory and PCIe Gen 7. Based on a 3nm process, Neoverse CSS N4 can accommodate up to 128 cores on a single die, with native support for FP8 and MMLA. It supports LPDDR6, DDR5, and MRDIMM memory at speeds ranging from 8000 to 12000MT/s, as well as 128-channel PCIe Gen7 interconnectivity. Compared to its predecessor, the Neoverse CSS N3, the Neoverse CSS N4 delivers up to a 100% increase in socket performance, up to 1.25 times the performance per watt, and up to 1.75 times the memory bandwidth. Hongjun Microelectronics has become one of the first partners to adopt this product for developing differentiated infrastructure chips.
