On September 7, during the 2026 semi-annual performance briefing, Huang Danyang, Senior Vice President of CXMT, addressed investor inquiries regarding DRAM prices in Q3. He stated that the global supply of DRAM products is projected to stay tight throughout the second half of 2026. In the first half of 2026, CXMT reported a revenue of RMB 150.310 billion, marking an impressive 873.64% year-on-year increase. Moreover, the company turned a net profit of RMB 77.605 billion, reversing the previous year's losses. DRAM prices have been on a steady upward trajectory since the latter half of 2025. In Q1 2026, contract prices surged by 93% to 98% on a quarter-on-quarter basis. Although the rate of increase slowed down in Q2, the latest forecast for Q3 indicates a further rise of 13% to 18% quarter-on-quarter, with prices continuing to hit record highs.
