To overcome these hurdles, AI chip inductors are set to evolve in three distinct ways: firstly, a shift from single-phase to multi-phase inductors; secondly, a transition from horizontal to VPD (Vertical Power Delivery) vertical power supply configurations; and thirdly, an upgrade from NON-TLVR to TLVR inductors. Spurred by volume growth, price dynamics, and structural shifts, the AI chip inductor market is experiencing rapid expansion, with the market size anticipated to multiply tenfold between 2025 and 2028. Looking ahead, escalating computing power requirements will fuel demand for chip inductors, while higher chip power consumption will boost inductor usage per chip.
