In the second quarter of 2026, the global DRAM market soared to a staggering USD 147.024 billion, achieving a remarkable 55.9% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) growth and setting an unprecedented historical record. Propelled by robust demand within the server market, manufacturers ramped up sales of high-value-added products. Consequently, the average selling price (ASP) for both server and PC DRAM experienced a more moderate QoQ increase, ranging between 40% and 50%. The concurrent rise in both sales volume and prices substantially propelled the overall sales revenue. Looking ahead to the third quarter, manufacturers and certain server customers have established price ceilings for long-term agreements. Meanwhile, price hikes for non-long-term agreements are anticipated to diminish on a quarterly basis. Despite this, the DRAM ASP is projected to maintain its upward trajectory, albeit at a more gradual pace of growth.
