According to the latest report from Counterpoint Research, in the second quarter of 2026, Samsung reclaimed its position as the global leader in the DRAM market, securing a 39% market share and bouncing back to its 2024 levels. During the same timeframe, SK Hynix experienced a remarkable 214% year-on-year revenue surge; however, its market share dipped from 39% in the second quarter of 2025 to 26%. Micron is vying with SK Hynix for the second spot, holding a 25% share. Benefiting from the burgeoning market demand and capacity expansion in China, ChangXin Memory witnessed a staggering 716% year-on-year growth, making it the world's fastest-growing DRAM manufacturer. Nanya Technology also enjoyed a significant 690% year-on-year increase, thanks to the improved supply-demand dynamics for DDR and LPDDR4/5 products.
