The optical module and CRO (Contract Research Organization) concept sectors emerged as strong performers, with numerous stocks experiencing significant surges or even hitting their daily price limits. In contrast, banking stocks faced a downturn, with the four major state-owned banks—Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, and China Construction Bank—all witnessing declines exceeding 3%. Across the entire market, over 3,700 stocks registered gains, outnumbering those that fell.
