Japan's Murata Manufacturing Co. has raised its full-year operating profit forecast to 430 billion yen (approximately US$2.7 billion), up from its previous forecast of 380 billion yen. Operating profit for the April-June quarter stood at 98.5 billion yen, surpassing analysts' expectations of 90.6 billion yen. The company stated that sustained demand growth related to data centers, coupled with the weakening yen, would drive profits to exceed previous forecasts.
