On July 23, the A-share market commenced trading with a positive note, as all three primary indices ascended simultaneously. The Shanghai Composite Index kicked off the session with a modest 0.03% increase, opening at 3868.09 points. Meanwhile, the Shenzhen Component Index exhibited a more robust rise of 0.39%, and the ChiNext Index surged ahead with a 0.84% gain. Notably, the oil and gas, CPO (Contract for Difference on Oil), and memory chip sectors demonstrated strong performance, whereas baijiu (Chinese white liquor) and CRO (Contract Research Organization) concept stocks underwent some adjustments.
