On July 23, the Hang Seng Index commenced trading with a 0.3% uptick, while the Hang Seng Tech Index also saw a positive start, climbing 0.2%. The semiconductor and building materials sectors were at the forefront of the market's gains. Notably, Analog Semiconductors surged by over 5%, and Anhui Conch Cement witnessed an increase exceeding 1%. Conversely, the oil, petrochemicals, and real estate sectors experienced some of the steepest declines. Jintai Energy Holdings plummeted by more than 14%, and China Resources Land saw its shares fall by over 1%.
