At a forum organized by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won remarked that the memory chip market is witnessing an exponential growth in demand, a factor that bodes well for a sustained long-term increase in SK Hynix's stock price. He highlighted that the sharp spike in the stock prices of both SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics over the past year can be directly attributed to this burgeoning demand. Speaking about the recent downturn in stock prices, he noted that stock prices typically ascend in tandem with market expectations, only to undergo corrections following periods of excessive growth. Nevertheless, he expressed unwavering confidence that the demand for memory chips will remain robust, paving the way for a gradual rise in stock prices over the coming period.
