Chinese chip manufacturer Montage Technology has disclosed that, on July 15, the Fair Trade Investigation Department of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in South Korea carried out an on-site inspection and evidence gathering at its South Korean office. This action was taken in relation to possible breaches of antitrust laws. Montage Technology is extending its full cooperation to the ongoing investigation. Up until the announcement date, neither the company nor any of its directors or employees have been formally charged with any misconduct, and the company's day-to-day operations continue without disruption. In the meantime, Montage Technology is projecting substantial performance growth for the first half of 2026. Additionally, its Chairman and CEO have put forward a proposal for the repurchase of the company's A-shares.
