Specifically, the added value of high-tech manufacturing and digital product manufacturing (above designated size) increased by 13.3% and 12.3%, respectively, accelerating compared to the first quarter. Driven by the global shift toward artificial intelligence technology, chip production by industrial enterprises (above designated size) reached 279.8 billion units in the first half of the year, with a daily average output exceeding 1.5 billion units. This underscores the strong development momentum of China’s semiconductor sector. Meanwhile, the production of smart products, such as 5G smartphones, has grown rapidly, with a daily average token invocation volume reaching hundreds of trillions, reflecting the immense vitality and potential of China’s digital and intelligent economy.
