A rumor circulating that Intel would produce Apple's A20 chip for the base model of the iPhone 18 was swiftly debunked within mere hours of its emergence. Initially, the Weibo account 'Dingjiao Digital Camera' asserted that the standard version of the iPhone 18 would incorporate Intel's 18A process technology, sparking industry speculation about the possibility of Intel manufacturing the A20 chip. However, a more trustworthy source, Jukan, subsequently refuted this assertion publicly. Jukan accused the Weibo blogger of fabricating the story and clarified that, after examining internal Apple documents recently leaked from a factory operated by India's Tata Group, he had 'uncovered no evidence to substantiate the claim.'
