The company emphasized that this laser system currently stands as the largest privately-owned laser apparatus globally. Leveraging insights from experiments carried out at the National Ignition Facility (NIF), Xcimer Energy is dedicated to advancing inertial confinement fusion technology from the realm of laboratory research to the practical application of commercial power generation.
