On June 3, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, took the wraps off the AI agent-enabled PC chip, the RTX Spark, this week. This cutting-edge chip, co-developed by NVIDIA and MediaTek, leverages TSMC’s advanced 3nm manufacturing process. It seamlessly integrates a 20-core Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU boasting 6,144 CUDA cores. The RTX Spark delivers an impressive 1 Petaflop of AI computing performance and supports up to 128GB of unified memory, setting a new benchmark in the industry.
The RTX Spark is set to make its debut in upcoming Windows products from six leading brands: Microsoft, Dell, HP, ASUS, Lenovo, and MSI. Consumers can expect to see these innovative devices hit the market in autumn 2026.
Ming-Chi Kuo, an esteemed analyst at TF International Securities, predicts that within the next two years, devices powered by the RTX Spark will remain niche offerings in the laptop market. He believes these products will primarily appeal to power users who demand high levels of on-device AI computing capabilities.
Kuo also highlighted that Apple’s approach to on-device AI agents, which will be unveiled at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 8, will be another crucial aspect to watch. This development comes alongside anticipated enhancements to Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant.
