Recently, MediaTek released its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, revealing a consolidated revenue of NT$149.151 billion. This marks a 0.7% decline from the previous quarter and a 2.7% decrease year-on-year. The revenue drop was mainly attributed to a contraction in the mobile phone business segment, though this was partially offset by growth in the smart device platform sector. The company reported earnings per share (EPS) of NT$15.17, with a gross margin of 46.3% and a consolidated net profit of NT$24.376 billion—representing a 5.6% quarter-on-quarter increase but a 17.4% year-on-year decline.
