On April 22, a committee of the U.S. House of Representatives reviewed and voted on the 'MATCH Act,' which aims to close loopholes in existing export controls on chip manufacturing equipment to China and pressure foreign companies supplying equipment to Chinese chip factories to align with the restrictions imposed on U.S. companies, involving U.S. equipment manufacturers such as KLA Corporation and Applied Materials.
