According to a research report from UBS, Intel’s foundry business has recently drawn considerable attention, with industry leaders like Google, Apple, AMD, and Nvidia anticipated to announce new foundry partnerships this autumn. UBS highlights that Intel’s rollout of the 1.0 version of the Process Design Kit (PDK) for its 14A process node is a crucial factor propelling potential orders toward the decision-making phase. Moreover, UBS has revised Intel’s target price upward to $65 and increased its revenue projection for the first quarter to $12.5 billion. This adjustment reflects the robust demand for Intel’s PC processors, a notable surge in server CPU demand, an enhanced outlook for its foundry operations, and growing confidence in long-term growth prospects, particularly given the potential integration of the Ohio wafer factory project with Musk’s TeraFab initiative.
