NVIDIA Collaborates with Marvell on AI-RAN Initiative, Bringing Advantages to Partners Such as Lite-On and Pegatron

On March 31, 2026, NVIDIA unveiled a strategic alliance with chip manufacturer Marvell, accompanied by a substantial $2 billion investment. Leveraging the NVLink Fusion platform, the two entities will seamlessly integrate Marvell into NVIDIA's AI ecosystem as well as the AI-RAN ecosystem. Marvell is set to supply tailor-made XPUs and compatible networking solutions. In return, NVIDIA will contribute pertinent technologies and rack-level computing capabilities to expedite customer development workflows. Moreover, the pair will collaborate on the development of silicon photonics technology, aiming to propel the evolution of 5G/6G telecom networks and incorporate global telecom networks into the AI infrastructure framework.
