NVIDIA's H200 graphics cards have recently obtained approval for sale in the domestic market, with initial projections estimating sales to reach 2 million units. Priced at 1.5 million yuan for a cabinet containing eight cards, these high-performance GPUs have attracted significant attention. However, domestic customers intending to purchase H200 graphics cards for AI training applications are encountering a series of challenges. Beyond the looming uncertainty stemming from potential shifts in U.S. policy, the commercial contract terms set forth by NVIDIA are notably stringent. Specifically, NVIDIA mandates that domestic customers must make full prepayment upfront. Furthermore, once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled, refunded, or reconfigured in any way. This approach effectively shifts the risk entirely onto domestic customers. Prior to the Spring Festival, NVIDIA plans to fulfill shipments based on its current inventory levels. The anticipated shipment volume ranges from 40,000 to 80,000 H200 chips, with domestic sales estimated to fall between approximately 7 billion and 15 billion yuan.
