Samsung Aims to Boost 1cnm DRAM Production: Sets Sights on Monthly Output of 200,000 Wafers by 2026

Samsung is stepping up efforts to expand its production capacity for 1cnm DRAM, aiming to gain a competitive edge in the HBM4 market. As per the company's blueprint, it intends to elevate its monthly production volume to 140,000 wafers by the second quarter of 2026. Subsequently, it plans to ramp up production even further, reaching a monthly capacity of 200,000 wafers by the fourth quarter of the same year. These production targets are currently in the equipment installation phase, with the overarching goal of having all necessary preparations in place for mass production at each respective stage.
