On the morning of November 10th, the mid-term summary and project evaluation exchange meeting for a pivotal project under the National Key Research and Development Program's “Nanotechnology Frontiers” initiative, namely “Investigation into Structural-Functional Integrated Nanocomposites and Their Applications in Extreme Environment Protection,” was successfully convened in Changzhou. This meeting was hosted by Professor Zhang Zhong of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Serving as the chairperson, Professor Zhang Zhong oversaw the proceedings, which featured an expert panel led by Researcher Chen Yunfa from the Institute of Process Engineering at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The panel was composed of a number of academicians and industry specialists. During the meeting, the project team presented a detailed report on their mid-term achievements. Subsequently, the expert panel carried out a thorough evaluation and offered insightful, constructive feedback to guide future work.
